INTRODUCTION OF GPNU
Founded in 1957,Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University (GPNU)is an institution of higher education authorized to award both Master and Bachelor Degree. GPNU is located in the central urban area of Guangzhou with convenient transport services.The campus is well equipped with all kinds of facilities including canteens, banks, gym, and libraries. The School of International Education, GPNU was established in 2004, offering two undergraduate degree programs(Taught in English) in Business Administration and International Economics & Trade. Additionally, it provides Chinese language courses for international students.
Up till now, over 4000 students from more than 60 countries across Asia, Africa, Europe and America have been enrolled and graduated from this School.With over 50 faculty, the School of International Education has built an excellent reputation in the field of international education.
PROGRAM INTRODUCTION
The foundation program at Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University adopts a small class teaching method, dividing students into classes based on their Chinese proficiency levels. After a year of intensive training in Chinese and basic subjects, students who successfully pass the assessment can continue their undergraduate studies at Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University or at other universities in China.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Regular High School graduate or above.
Good health condition (students will have physical examinations at designated
hospital before the final admission).
Must not have a criminal record.
Candidate age: 18 to 30 years.
Non-Chinese nationals holding a valid passport with a validity period of more than one year.
APPLICATION AND ACCEPTANCE PROCESS
Applying Online: Applicants should visit the International Student Registration Website of GPNU to submit their application online, along with clear electronic materials;
Checking the enrollment results: Applicants can check the progress of the application through the application portal: it is
important to regularly check the system messages and your emails to avoid any important notices. Receiving Admission Notice: GPNU will issue Electronic Admission Notice and Visa documents (JW202 Form) to accepted applicants.
VISA APPLICATION AND REGISTRATION
In order to apply for a Study Visa (X1 Visa), admitted international students must prepare and submit following documents to the Chinese Embassy or consulate general in their respective countries: passport, Admission Notice, the JW202 form, the Medical Examination Record for Foreigners and other related documents.
Before the date specified in the Admission Notice International students who have been admitted are required to register at GPNU. To evaluate their admission, prospective students must submit their original degree certificates to the university. Those who fail to register over two weeks without a valid reason or do not meet the admission requirements will be disqualified from admission.
EXPENSES
1.Registration fees: 250 RMB；
2.Tuition:10000 RMB/semester;
3.Insurance fees: 400 RMB/semester.
