1 Procedures for New Students’ Registration

        1.1 International students shall register in GPNU before the designated date specified in the Admission Notice. Failing to register on time will not be permitted to enroll.

1.2 Present the Admission Notice, JW-202 form and valid passport at Admission Office.

1.3 Turn in five two-inch photos.

1.4 Turn in all properly filled- out required registration documents.

1.5 Tuition and accommodation fees shall be fully paid before registration. There will not be refund if a student is expelled from school or departs without prior authorization.

1.6 Students who will study in GPNU for more than 6 months should hand in the Physical Examination Record for Foreigners and Residents from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.

Note: Students who are unable to continue studies due to reasons such as leaving school without permission, being expelled from school or breaking Chinese laws, all the paid tuition, insurance fee, accommodation fee and accommodation deposit will not be refunded.

2 Procedures for Current Students’ Registration

Current students should register with the admission office within the designated days in the beginning of a new semester. For registration be sure to take passport, Registration Form of Temporary Residence for Visitors and student ID card. Students who need to extend the residence permit should first fully pay tuition, insurance fee, accommodation fee and accommodation deposit (for students living in the dormitory); then go to the Department of Entry and Exit Administration of Guangzhou Public Security Bureau with all the above documents together with the certification from GPNU. Expenses incurred will be paid by students themselves.

Without GPNU's consent, international students who fail to register within the first two weeks of a new semester will be taken as withdrawal from the university.
