Chapter I: General Provisions
Article 1: Name and Nature
The organization shall be named "A University School of International Education International Students Alumni Association" (hereinafter referred to as "Alumni Association"). It is a non-profit alumni organization affiliated with A University's School of International Education.
Article 2: Purpose
The Alumni Association aims to foster connections and communication among international students who have studied at A University's School of International Education, support the professional development of alumni, enhance alumni's sense of belonging and loyalty to the alma mater, and promote cooperation between alumni and the university.
Article 3: Principles
The Alumni Association shall adhere to the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and operate on the following principles:
Voluntary Participation: All members join the Alumni Association voluntarily.
Mutual Assistance: Members assist each other for collective development.
Non-Profit: The Alumni Association shall not operate for profit.
Chapter II: Membership
Article 4: Membership Qualifications
Individuals who have previously studied at A University's School of International Education.
Individuals or organizations who have made significant contributions to the Alumni Association, not limited to former students.
Article 5: Member Rights
To participate in various activities organized by the Alumni Association.
To receive information, advice, and services provided by the Alumni Association.
To make suggestions and criticisms regarding the work of the Alumni Association.
Article 6: Member Obligations
To abide by the Alumni Association's charter and to execute its resolutions.
To uphold the reputation and interests of the Alumni Association.
To actively participate in the Alumni Association's activities.
Chapter III: Organizational Structure
Article 7: Organizational Framework
The Alumni Association shall establish the following organizational bodies:
General Assembly: The highest authority within the Alumni Association.
Board of Directors: The executive body responsible for the daily management of the Alumni Association.
Secretariat: Responsible for the administrative and logistical work of the Alumni Association.
Article 8: Board of Directors
The Board of Directors shall be elected by the Alumni Association's General Assembly.
The Board of Directors is responsible for formulating the Alumni Association's annual plan and budget.
Chapter IV: Activities
Article 9: Scope of Activities
The activities of the Alumni Association include, but are not limited to:
Organizing social events to enhance understanding and friendship among members.
Providing career development consultation and resource sharing.
Facilitating cooperation and exchange between alumni and the alma mater.
Article 10: Organization of Activities
All activities should be planned in advance and implemented by the Board of Directors or the Secretariat.
Chapter V: Financial Management
Article 11: Sources of Funds
The Alumni Association's sources of funding include:
Membership dues paid by members.
Donations from alumni.
Other lawful income.
Article 12: Financial Management
The Alumni Association shall establish a sound financial management system.
All financial activities shall be conducted transparently.
Chapter VI: Supplementary Provisions
Article 13: Amendments to the Charter
Amendments to this Charter shall be proposed by the Board of Directors and approved by the General Assembly.
Article 14: Dissolution and Disposal of Assets
In the event of dissolution, the Alumni Association's assets shall be disposed of in accordance with the relevant laws of the People's Republic of China.
Article 15: Effective Date
This Charter shall take effect from the date of its adoption by the General Assembly.
