At Huacheng Square, the teacher introduced to the students that this is the core node of Zhujiang New Town, the new central axis of Guangzhou. Then, the students of the international class introduced five city landmarks to the international students, including the Asian Games venue, Guangzhou Tower, Haixinsha Asian Games Park, and Guangdong Museum.

Visiting the woodcarving exhibition, students experienced the diversity of carving techniques and the exquisite craftsmanship; At the Ceramic Museum, everyone saw the long history, diverse types, unique names, and rich content of ceramic culture; Touring the natural resources exhibition hall, students experienced Guangdong's rich mineral resources, a wide variety of Chinese herbal medicines, and also saw numerous specimens of ancient organisms. At the Guangdong History and Culture Exhibition Hall, while visiting, teachers and students listen to the narrator explaining the long history of Guangdong. The countless cultural relics in the display window seem to have come to life, as ancient people have traveled through a long time and space to quietly tell their stories to modern people. This also greatly stimulated the students' thirst for knowledge. They actively asked the commentator for advice and took the opportunity to deeply understand Cantonese culture.
This practical activity fully showcases the cultural charm of ancient Lingnan and modern Lingnan, which has greatly benefited students. The teachers and students talked with each other in a harmonious atmosphere. The students said that this was a pleasant and unforgettable experience, which not only broadened their horizons, but also enhanced the understanding and recognition of Cantonese culture among overseas students in China, and also improved the cultural confidence of international students, promoting friendly cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries.
